Our Third Annual "Chippin’ in for Habitat" Golf Tournament will be held Monday, October 6, 2008 at Riverside Country Club in Provo.
This event highlights an international celebration: World Habitat Day. This was created by the United Nations to encourage citizens worldwide to reflect on the state of our towns and cities and the basic right to adequate shelter for all. It is also intended to remind the world of its collective responsibility for the future of the human habitat.
Proceeds from the golf tournament will be used to help provide a family in our local community with safe and adequate housing. Tournament golfers and sponsors are still being sought. The cost is $800.00 per team of four and will include golf with cart, fun competitions, wonderful door prizes, a chance to win a car from Gene Harvey Chevrolet, and a delicious lunch. General and hole sponsorships are also available.
