Tour de Habitat Lakes to Peaks

The Fourth Annual Tour de Habitat Bike Ride will be held on Saturday, June 9, 2012 to benefit Habitat for Humanity of Utah County's affordable housing program. Rides are available for all skill levels. We are proud to be part of Orem City's Summerfest Celebration again this year!

Conquer the Peaks!

Choose from three routes:

  • The Lakes Route: a 20 mile ride around Orem City starting and ending at the Lindon boat harbor. Registration begins at 8 am, ride begins at 9 am.
  • The Peaks Route: begins at the Lindon boat harbor, and heads up Provo Canyon - then choose to climb one, two or all three of these peaks: Squaw Peak, South Fork, and the Alpine Loop Summit. Ends back at the Lindon boat harbor. Registration begins at 8 am, ride begins at 9 am. Summitting all 3 peaks will challenge even the hard core riders!
  • The Family Ride: for families with children, ride the Summerfest Parade Route together as part pre-parade activities. Be extra festive and decorate your bike (not required)! Those participating will receive reserved seating for parade viewing along the parade route. Registration begins at 5:30 pm at the LDS church at 800 S/800 E in Orem; the ride starts at 6:30 pm.
  • Register in advance on-line, or at the starting point of your ride on the day of the event. The cost for the event is $30.00 ($35.00 day of event) per person for the Lakes or Peaks Route, and $5.00 per person for the Family Ride. Riders will receive a t-shirt, water and snacks, tickets to an upcoming Owlz game and other fun giveaways and prizes. We are also offering a high-quality Habitat bike jersey for only $50.
