We welcome community members who own businesses or have professional licensing to donate labor and / or materials to our homes. Because we complete, on average, one home per quarter, we are in need of professionals on a quarterly basis with expertise in excavation, plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, finish carpentry, and other construction proficiencies. If you are interested in adding your name to our on-call professionals list, please do so below. We will add your information to our list and will contact you as you may be needed.
In accordance with law, you will be required to present tax ID number (or social security number,) proof of workers’ compensation, and proof of general liability insurance.
We are in need of people with professional construction experience to help our construction managers lead crews of often inexperienced volunteers on Thursdays and Saturdays. Volunteers are needed for four- to five-hour shifts and will be asked to volunteer approximately once monthly. Volunteer Crew Leaders will be asked first to attend a volunteer crew leader orientation. If you would like to be considered for a volunteer crew leader position, please contact us below.
Construction professionals are needed to join our building committee. The committee meets for one hour on the last Thursday of the month at 5:30 p.m. at our ReStore in Provo, located at 626 N. Freedom Blvd. The building committee collectively makes decisions on when and where to build, when and where professionals are needed, keeps inventory of materials, hosts the monthly home maintenance class, and generally directs the building process. Building committee members may be asked to serve as volunteer crew leaders or complete short tasks outside of the committee meetings. A one-year commitment to the committee is preferred. If you would like to join the building committee, please fill out the form below.
