Simple Group Fundraising Projects

Help us raise funds to build more homes! If your group is looking for a different type of community service project, organize and hold a volunteer fundraising activity. If you would like to help serve needy local families in this way, see our fundraising guidelines and submit a project proposal below. The following are some ideas to get you started:

  • Hold a benefit concert
  • Organize a ReStore scavenger hunt in your neighborhood
  • Hold a car wash
  • Organize a neighborhood "home party"
  • Allow us to partner with your event — we will provide volunteers as needed
  • Mow lawns, rake leaves, or shovel snow to benefit Habitat
  • Organize a run or walk for Habitat
  • Build playhouses, doghouses, or birdhouses to sell or auction
  • Organize a "Cans for Habitat" program in your neighborhood
