For a more flexible volunteering experience, choose to volunteer at the ReStore. The store is located at 626 N. Freedom Blvd. in Provo. Currently the only Habitat ReStore in Utah, it provides an environmentally friendly alternative to local businesses and individuals who would generally dispose of excess or gently used home improvement supplies and building materials. At the ReStore, we accept these items as donations, and then sell them to the public at significant discounts. All of the proceeds help to fund local Habitat home construction.
As a volunteer at the ReStore, you will help with accepting, unloading, and organizing donations. Volunteers are needed Monday-Saturday, 10 a.m.-6 p.m. for at least two hours at a time. Individuals and small groups (fewer than 10 people) are welcome. If you are interested in volunteering at the ReStore on a short-term basis, please call (801) 373-7867.
